Throwback to when "The Glove" and the Sonics were regarded as one of the best defensive teams of the late 90s. Led by Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton, the two formed "Sonic Boom", one of the most electrifying tandems in NBA history. For the 1995-96 season, the Sonics featured new uniforms, a new logo, and adding red to their colour scheme. In the uniform's debut season, the Sonics won the Western Conference and faced the 72-win Bulls in the NBA Finals.
