Returns & Exchange Policy
FULL PRICE VS SALE ITEMS
Full Price Items:
You can return any full priced item in its original condition within 10 days of the date you received your order. Item must be unworn and in a resalable condition, including all product tags and stickers attached, undamaged packaging (eg. Shoebox) etc. If an item is returned without its original packaging, we will not be able to process your return. ‘Change of mind’ returns will be offered an exchange or credit note (valid 12 months). This includes disliking the item, purchasing the wrong size or having faults you knew of before purchase.
* socks, sleeves, sweatbands and other related accessories can not be returned or exchanged unless faulty.
Please choose carefully, as we do not accept exchanges or returns for change of mind on sale items, unless faulty. Sale items cannot be redeemed against prior purchases. Items purchased on promotion or discount may not be exchanged or returned. Promotions are priced accordingly.
Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash.Gift Cards are not credit or debit cards and if lost, stolen or damaged are non-replaceable and non-refundable.
HOW DO I RETURN AN ITEM I PURCHASED ONLINE?
If you are located in Sydney, visit us in-store within 10 days of receiving your order and our staff will assist you with an exchange or credit note to be used in-store only. Please provide your Throwback register receipt as proof of purchase. All goods must be in an original, unworn and resalable state, including product tags attached, stickers, boxes etc.
If you return an item without the original packaging, we will not be able to process your return and you will be required to cover the cost of returning your item via your choice of shipping.
(DO NOT return the item by post without first contacting us and having approval)
Please contact Throwback at firstname.lastname@example.org within 10 days of receiving your order, provide your full name, order number and a brief explanation of your return/exchange along with your Throwback register receipt as proof of purchase. Items returned without prior written contact with us may result in your items being returned to you at your expense.
We are not responsible for the return shipping cost of items, unless items are faulty. We are also not responsible for the additional shipping cost of exchanged items, unless the items are faulty. We will contact you for payment before the exchange is sent. Orders returned in full, will be provided a store credit as requested, exclusive of freight offered for free at time of purchase. Items must be returned within 10 days of receiving your order. Items returned after the 10 day time frame will be assessed at our discretion.
For security and peace of mind, we recommend that you send your returns using an insured registered post as we are not liable for any lost returned items.
*Shoe Boxes – If returning a pair of shoes, please ensure the item is double boxed (this means the shoe box inside a shipping carton,not the shoe box inside a satchel).
We do not accept international returns. All sales on international purchases are final. Please contact us at email@example.com in the case of a faulty item claim. International claims will be treated on a case-by-case basis. More details are available in the “Faulty Claims” section, below.
Whilst we have procedures in place to ensure that your items arrive to you correctly and in pristine condition, we do accept that we’re human and errors can occur. In the case you do receive incorrect or faulty items, you will need to contact our Customer Care team. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org in the case of a faulty item claim or if you have received an incorrect item. Please provide your order number and photos of the item to allow us to investigate further.
Refunds will only be given if there is an apparent manufacturing fault and the item can not be repaired or replaced. We will review this on a case-by-case basis and we hold the right to refuse a return if the reasons are unsatisfactory.
If the return is approved; either a repair, replacement or refund will be issued at Throwback's discretion, which we will contact you with instructions for.
In the event that an identical replacement product being unavailable (i.e. size, colour, style), a store credit or refund will be issued at Throwback's discretion.
Refunds for faulty items will be issued using your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for funds to appear back into your account, depending on what payment method your original purchase was processed through. Throwback does not take responsibility for delays that may occur due to any third party payment gateways (eg. Paypal, Afterpay, Klarna, Apple Pay etc.).
