NBA 2K27 Giveaway — Terms & Conditions

1. The Promotion

This promotion ("Promotion") is a lottery conducted by Throwback (throwbackstore.com.au, ABN 64 608 518 298) ("Throwback", "we"). Winners are selected by random draw.

Promotion Period: 5:00pm AEST Thursday 27 August 2026 to 11:59pm AEST Sunday 30 August 2026.

Prizes: 5x NBA 2K27 Deluxe Edition digital codes and 5x NBA 2K27 Ultra Edition digital codes (10 prizes total, estimated total prize pool value under $30,000 AUD).

2. How to Enter

• Each order placed on throwbackstore.com.au, or in-store, during the Promotion Period earns one entry, as follows:
  • Orders totalling $200–$299.99 AUD (inc. GST, excl. shipping) earn one entry into the Deluxe Edition draw.
  • Orders totalling $300 AUD or more (inc. GST, excl. shipping) earn one entry into the Ultra Edition draw instead.
• One order = one entry. There is no limit on the number of qualifying orders, or entries, a person or household may accumulate — placing more qualifying orders increases your chances. (See clause 3 for the one-prize-per-person limit on winning.)
• To enter with an in-store purchase, let a staff member know at the time of purchase that you'd like to enter the Promotion so your order can be registered for the draw. In-store orders not flagged to staff at the time of purchase will not be entered.
• Gift card purchases do not count towards the qualifying order value. Where an order includes a gift card, only the value of physical/other eligible products in that order counts towards the $200 or $300 threshold.
• No purchase-free entry route is offered for this Promotion.

3. The Draw

• 5 winners will be randomly drawn from all eligible Deluxe Edition entries, and 5 winners randomly drawn from all eligible Ultra Edition entries, by Tuesday 1 September 2026.
• Only orders that remain valid (not cancelled, refunded, disputed, or charged back, and still meeting the relevant threshold) at the time of the draw are eligible to be drawn.
• Limit of one prize per person or household across the entire Promotion. If an entrant holding multiple entries is drawn more than once, only their first prize will stand and the next eligible entry will be drawn in its place for any subsequent draw.
• Winners will be contacted via the email or phone number used on their order once the draw is complete, and asked to confirm which platform (e.g. PlayStation, Xbox, or Steam) they'd like their code issued for.
• A winner must reply with their platform choice within 24 hours of being contacted. If no reply is received within that time, or if a winning order is cancelled, refunded, disputed, or charged back after being drawn but before the code is issued, that prize will be forfeited and the next eligible entrant from the same tier will be contacted instead.
• Codes are issued only once a winner's order remains valid and their platform choice has been confirmed. If, after a code has already been issued, the associated order is cancelled, refunded, or reversed for any reason, Throwback reserves the right to recover the value of the code from the winner by any lawful means, including offsetting against any refund otherwise owed.
• Once a code has been issued against an order, the retail value of that code is treated as part of the value received for the order. If any part of a winning order is later returned for a change of mind, the retail value of the code will be deducted from the refund owed. This does not affect any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law to a refund, repair, or replacement where goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.
• Throwback may request proof of purchase and identity before issuing a code, and may delay or decline to issue a code while an order is under review.

4. Code Redemption

Codes are digital redemption codes for NBA 2K27 and must be redeemed via the platform confirmed by the winner, subject to that platform's own terms. Throwback is not the issuer of the game or the platform account associated with it, and is not responsible for platform account issues, regional restrictions, or redemption problems once a code has been delivered to the winner.

Codes have no cash value, cannot be exchanged, resold, or redeemed for cash or store credit, and will not be replaced if lost after delivery.

5. Eligibility

Open to Australian residents able to complete a purchase on throwbackstore.com.au or in-store during the Promotion Period. Employees of Throwback (and their immediate families) are not eligible.

6. General

• This Promotion is conducted as a trade promotion lottery. Throwback has assessed the total prize pool value as falling within the threshold permitting this Promotion to be conducted without a permit; however, permit requirements can vary by the state or territory an entrant resides in, and Throwback reserves the right to adjust or withdraw the Promotion in any jurisdiction where required.
• Throwback reserves the right to amend these terms, or to end, suspend, or withdraw the Promotion at any time without notice — including in response to fraud, technical failure, or a code supply issue — provided any change does not unfairly disadvantage an entrant who has already qualified.
• Nothing in these terms limits any right a customer has under the Australian Consumer Law.
