Throwback Shipping Protection Policy

At Throwback, we understand the importance of ensuring your orders arrive safely and securely. Our Shipping Protection covers your packages against loss, damage, or theft during transit, providing you with peace of mind from the moment your order is placed until it is delivered.


Enrollment:

  • Shipping Protection is automatically added to your cart. If you prefer not to participate, you should remove it during checkout. Opting out means you won't be eligible for replacements if your order is lost or damaged during transit.

Coverage Details:

  • Coverage Period: Protection starts immediately after checkout and continues until your order is delivered and received safely.
  • Eligible Regions: This coverage is available for customers in Australia and New Zealand Only
  • Coverage Scope: The insurance covers the replacement value of the items being shipped, including applicable taxes, shipping, and handling charges. This is strictly for the initial transit period between our warehouse and the final delivery of your items. This should not be confused with an extended product warranty.

Exclusions:

  • Damage or loss due to natural disasters (such as floods, earthquakes, and hurricanes), war, terrorism, or other similar events beyond Throwback's control.
  • Items for which proof of delivery has been provided by the courier, even if the customer claims non-receipt.
  • Delays in delivery, customs issues, incorrect information provided by the customer, and missing items without signs of tampering.

Claims Process:

  1. Notification: In the event of loss or damage, notify Throwback within 7 business days of delivery by contacting our customer service team at customerservice@throwbackstore.com.au
  2. Required Documentation: Provide proof of purchase, photos of the damaged items, and any relevant communication from the courier.
  3. Evaluation: We will evaluate the claim and, if approved, provide a replacement item or issue a refund within 7 business days.
  4. Return of Damaged Items: If required, return the damaged items using the return label provided. Failure to return the items may affect your claim.

Specific Scenarios:

  • Lost Packages: After 10 days from the last tracking update without delivery, file a claim. Claims must be filed within 30 days of the last tracking update.
  • Damaged Packages: File a claim within 30 days of delivery with photos and a written explanation of the damage.

Limitation of Liability: Throwback is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the loss or damage of items during shipping.

Modification of Policy: Throwback reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website.
