Karl Malone made his name as the game's ultimate finisher. Best known for his pick & roll tandem with John Stockton, Malone shared his Dream Team berth, All-Star MVP, Hall of Fame and NBA50 induction with his point guard. "The Mailman" is currently second all-time in career points and is considered one of the greatest power forwards of all time.

The 1996-97 season was a breakthrough for the Jazz and Karl Malone. The franchise changed their look to better reflect Salt Lake City, with a mountain theme in their uniforms and logo. "The Mailman" took home his first MVP as he and John Stockton helped lead the Jazz to its first NBA Finals. Along with counterpart John Stockton, the duo was named as one of the 50 Greatest Players.
