Deep from within the New York City sewers, it’s everyone’s favorite pizza-loving, skateboarding, crime-fighting team: the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This collab sees many of Melo’s signature shoes taken over by the Turtles and some of their
fiercest foes.
The first limited-edition drop in this collection is an iridescent version of Melo’s debut PUMA Hoops sneaker. This MB.01 is covered in the shimmering pattern of the half-man, half-fly mad scientist, Baxter Stockman. The MB.01 Baxter Stockman is built for fast-paced play on and off the court, thanks to our signature NITROFOAM tech.
Constructed out of a unique blend of monomesh and ripstop materials, the Puma MB.01 is both durable and breathable. In addition to covering the majority of the base, the Pink hue also takes care of the TPU mudguard, vamps, and eyestays. Contrast comes by way of the white hits found on the Puma and LaMelo branding found throughout. When it comes to the tech on the sole of the MB.01, Puma decks out the model with a Nitro Foam-infused rubber midsole and outsole that matches the pink aesthetic of the upper.
