WOW 12 - 'Obsidian'

First time I've owned a pair of Way of Wade's and they certainly live up to the hype. Great cushioning underfoot, great on court traction and pretty good court feel (more on that later). Very light and so long sessions on court are never tiring given the cushioning and lightness. The WoW 12 on-floor wear characteristics are similar to a Kobe 6 or GT Cut 3 or GT Cut 4, although I would probably rate them just under the Kobe 6 as the Kobe has better court feel IMO, equal with the Gut 3 and slightly ahead of the Cut 4. The Black Obsidian colourway is fire - the details are incredible and they're just a great looking shoe. My only gripe, is that it is a pity they don't come in half sizes above US11 in Australia. I'm a US11 in Nikes, but the WoW runs a little small for my foot and the US11 was too tight in the toe box. I opted for a US12 which fits better, but its slightly too long and its probable that a US11.5 would have been perfect. That sizing may be a contributor the slightly less court feel of the WoW12 vs the Kobe 6? They do make a US11.5 and its available in the USA, for some reason they're not importing the bigger half sizes to Australia?? Overall a really great choice for any hooper looking for a high level, performance shoe - just double check your sizing.
